Guilia ~ 9-Month Photoshoot with Family

This little blue-eyed beauty was quite the stoic…until we pulled out a wooden crate and an apple. At this session, I witnessed firsthand why people say that babies would rather play with the box than the toy. Even at just nine months old, baby Guilia knew right away how to flip the box over and wiggle inside. A smile immediately spread across her face when she sat inside like a princess, ready to take on the world. She looked so cute as she hung on tightly to the sides and then threw her hands up in the air with glee. I really would like to know what goes on inside the mind of toddler. I love how they find so much happiness and fascination with the simple things in life – like a wooden box! If only we could all remain filled with wonder like that forever! Can you imagine adults looking that happy as they sit down in their cars to go to work? Ha!

A Child’s Laughter

I love the soft autumn light in this session. Mom picked out a beautiful white sweater and burgundy headband for little Guilia, and it looked so lovely on her. The colors really highlight her skin, eyes, and hair. She looks like a baby model! The crate wasn’t the only thing to get a few laughs out of our girl…Dad also knew the best tickle spot to elicit a few more toothy grins, and so did mom’s kisses and snuggles.

I had so much fun with this family. Little Guilia gets bigger every day (I also did her Newborn Session), so I can’t wait until next time. I’m sure she’ll be toddling around everywhere!
