Newborn Photographs as Art

When it comes time to decorate the walls of our homes, we all head to the nearest home store or art gallery to find something to fit the space. We’ve been conditioned to believe that photographs belong in frames on our mantel or bedside table. Well, what if we decorated our homes with the subjects that mean the most to us and not the artist? Seeing our Newborn Photographs as Art would allow us to enjoy that special time in our babies lives for so much longer since the photographs would be decorating our home.  This piece would brighten her nursery better than any fairy or princess poster.newborn baby girl nestled in orange and yellow floral wreath on orange painted backdropThis newborn little girl was the perfect subject, allowing me to pose and move her as I needed only sighing as she resettled into the position that I placed her. newborn baby girl with pink bonnet and knit pants sleeping on purple beddingShe looked so comfy and warm in the candy-colored legwarmers that I put her in.newborn baby girl sleeping on bright yellow backdrop in knitted candy colored pantsAnd the most difficult to catch and prized image for both newborn photographers and parents. . . the smile!newborn baby girl wrapped in green with a yellow bonnet surrounded by yellow and orange flowersIf you are thinking about getting a newborn photographer, read this quick post Finding the Right Newborn Photographer.
