Jack ~ Newborn Photography Studio
Hello, Jack! Mom and Dad are hoping to call him J.D. when he gets a bit bigger. This family found me when they were looking for a newborn photography studio. Finishing up her work in Connecticut to become an obstetrician, mom told me they would be moving within 6 weeks of Jack’s arrival. So we had to get their family photographed and packed up before then.
Because their dog is a member of their family too, they asked if they could bring him along to be part of the photographs. He had the absolute best smile and was happy to cooperate for the camera.
Jack and his family moved out to the Midwest, so I’m sure his autumns are going to be filled football. Dad wanted to plant that seed early so I created this photograph for them.

Such a cute little boy. He almost looks like a marionette here since his fluffy cheeks were resting on his hands.
Dad was a photography enthusiast as well and really enjoyed the entire process. I think we drove mom a bit nuts with all of our technical and gear talk. But getting this sweet photo of his tiny son resting in his arms will mean the world to both of them.
One of the benefits of using my newborn photography studio is that’s you get to choose from all of the charming props that I have to make your session special. I have a “little boy drawer” full of bonnets, sunglasses, pants, shorts, sports balls, and even a cowboy hat. But this simple bonnet on Jack made his portrait simply adorable.
And finally, Jack fits perfectly in the palm of his daddy’s hands. It’s amazing that we all start out this small.
