This was the second time this family came to see me for newborn photographs. Their first son, Wyatt, was in the studio back in 2018, and I was so happy this family reached out to me again. It is always great to see families over the years and how much the babies have grown. Wyatt has gotten so big, and I can already tell that he is an amazing big brother. The gentleness and love he has for his little brother are so sweet to watch.
Mom and dad just wanted sibling photos and a few photographs of their new son Duncan so we set about creating some artwork that would capture just how tiny he was (he was 6 weeks when both he and his brother visited me for their newborn sessions). And he had a similar session to his brother. They both spent quite a bit of time awake (older babies are much more sensitive to touch and wake up much easier) and a little bit of time asleep. We decided to go with some traditional studio photos, but also took a few whimsical photos that incorporated fun backgrounds and props. He is so small and cute! I also really enjoyed photographing Duncan and Wyatt together. They had no problem snuggling up and posing for the camera. They both did such a good job in front of the camera.
All in all, we had a wonderful time, and I hope I can get to see these boys continue to grow again in the future. Welcome to the world, Duncan! You are already so loved by so many people!
If you want memories like these of your little ones together, contact me today. I’d love to tell you all about my newborn sessions. I am currently booking December – June 2021.
