Evan ~ Simple, Yet Adorable 3 Month Old Baby Session

At this point in the year, it’s not a surprise that plans are cancelled, policies are different, and safety is on the forefront of most people’s minds. This family is no exception, but we were able to make adjustments so we could document almost the beginning moments of their new baby boy, Evan. This little one was born right in the middle of COVID, so we had to postpone his newborn session until it was safe to work together. Therefore, we had Evan’s session when he turned 3 months old. Despite this road block, the session was so rewarding. Evan is as cute as can be, and I think we were able to get some great photos of his sweet personality. 

Evan is an active little guy, and doesn’t like to sit still for too long. He was happiest when he could stretch out and play. It was adorable when he extended his arms and legs toward the camera – too cute! He had curious, big eyes that stood out in the photos. There is nothing sweeter than a new baby trying to understand the world around them. One thing I loved about this session was the quality time I was able to capture of this family. Evan loved to interact with his mom and dad. He was smiling from ear to ear when they were talking to him and playing with him. It was obvious that they are absolutely in love with their new son. 

Sometimes babies throw curveballs your way, such as Evan teething that day. He spent most of the session with his fists in his mouth. It was okay, though, because we were able to get some beautiful photographs of their family to display in their home. I am so happy for this couple on this new chapter in their lives. Even though they had to bring their baby into a strange time, I am so happy they will be able to soak up more time, snuggles, and love with their precious baby!
