Maesie ~ Six Month Baby Milestone Photography Session

Maesie and her family are long-time clients. They love filling their home with portraits of their family growing up, so with two little ones, I get to see them about every six months or so. Not long ago, Maesie was in the studio for her precious ballerina newborn shoot. But for this shoot, we were highlighting her six-month milestone stage. This little beauty was full of happy smiles, and she loved showing off her wobbly sitting skills. She is just the most adorable thing and couldn’t stop smiling or giggling long enough to stay sitting for too long. This girl knows how to enjoy life!

When the sun gives you gorgeous, you have to take advantage of it! Maesie is so calm and happy, we thought an outdoor family shoot would be fun. Plus, the sunshine matches her sweet personality perfectly! Since it was a family shoot, too, we included Maesie’s big brother, Cole, who is almost three now. Just like Maesie, he’s the sweetest kiddo. He has such a kind heart, and he’s truly a pleasure to be around. Together, they are the most precious sibling duo. He’s so gentle to his little sister, and his playful side gets her smiling like no one else can. One of my favorite photos from this session is of the two of them sitting together on a blanket.

Although I’m sure it can get hectic at times with two little ones, these parents are doing such a wonderful job with their kiddos! Mom and Dad so patient with both kids, and it shows in the way their kids respond in return. There’s so much love here, and it’s beautiful to capture every time. Though the milestones change and the kids get bigger, the same warmth and joy is always there.
