Luca & Matteo ~ Twin Newborn Photos

Luca and Matteo (in order from left to right) had a wonderful twin newborn photography session with me. Each so different in their personalities and expressions, they were equally as cute. Luca favors his mom and Matteo is the spitting image of his dad.

Luca was the feistier of the two twins, although you would never know it looking at him sleeping so serenely here. He would turn completely red in the face when he became unsettled and wanted to be left alone to sleep.

Matteo was a little more chilled out and just went with the flow (as long as his pacifier was nearby).

Born at almost the same size, Matteo seems to be gaining weight a touch faster than his twin brother. No matter how I moved them though, within moments of being placed back together, they would settle down and sleep peacefully.

Towards the end of the session, and after a milk break, both of the boys gave me some great awake time. Luca was a little more cautious with his smiles and preferred to watch what was going on around him.

Matteo was more curious and playful, happy to give me a grin to let me know he was having a good time.

As different as can be, these two twin newborns are going to grow up best friends.
