Kayden ~ Whimsical Newborn Session

Kayden’s parents were absolutely thrilled to welcome this little boy to their family and make them a family of four. Baby Kayden’s big sister Arya was a perfect angel and did everything that I asked of her during the session. She is so proud of her new role, and I have no doubt that she’s going to be a huge help to Mom and Dad over the coming months.

Although, they won’t require too much help since Kayden didn’t even make a peep the entire session! He performed beautifully – i.e. he snoozed like a champ! This handsome boy had the longest eyelashes I have ever seen! Mom and Dad said the nurses were so astonished that they would come by to visit just to see the baby with “the lashes!” That’s a story they’ll never forget, and I don’t think Kayden will ever live it down.

Whimsical Themed Newborn Portraits

For Kayden’s session, his parents really wanted a unique Harry potter photo of Kayden dressed up as a Gryffindor. It was a ton of fun to create, and I know they were pleased with how it came out. To keep up the fun, Dad was super excited to see a simple photograph honoring his love of UCONN. Themed newborn photos are a great way to decorate nursery walls! 

This sweet family ordered beautiful photographs to go on their walls at home, but unfortunately, they have to wait a bit, all of the labs are shut down. So, for now, they are enjoying their digital files and are looking forward to putting up their fantastic family portraits as soon as they arrive. I am just so glad we could get these photos done during the newborn stage – they will have their gorgeous wall art before they know it.
