Nora Rose ~ Rose Themed Newborn Photos

This little cherub is Miss Nora Rose. She was 18 days old when she came to visit me and to get her first photographs taken. Mom wanted to incorporate lots of roses in her session, paying homage to her middle name. I hope you enjoy the rose themed newborn photos I’ve created for this family.

Here they are now, as a family of three, with all the love in the world, circled in their arms.

Well, you can’t get more roses in this photograph, that’s for sure! You can almost smell the perfume from the flowers just by looking at this adorable photo of Nora resting in her little bed.

Because Nora has a summer birthday, I wanted to create one photograph that had an element of summer fun in it. Thinking that when she wakes up, Nora is going to want to finish the rest of her ice cream.

This momma has the most interesting story I’ve ever heard. She was the 11th child of 12, and her mother moved the family to America after her father passed away (and the youngest was only a year old at the time!) She said it was always her father’s dream to move to America and raise his family here, so her mom made that happen for him. Such amazing strength to leave your homeland with 12 kids as a single parent! I’m sure this momma gleaned a lot from her mother and will pass it down to little Nora as well.

Sleeping in a rose petal heart nest, Nora was so peaceful.

Daddy really wanted a little blue in Nora’s session, so I wrapped Nora up and photographed her in the potato sack pose. Such a tiny little ball of love.

Daddy was so sweet with the newest love in his life, his newborn daughter.

I tucked Nora into another bed for this photograph and placed her roses around her. She was so serene and adorable here, mom and I couldn’t help saying awwwwww.

Making sure to create several photographs that are simple and all about Nora, this beautiful pink blanket was the perfect compliment to Nora’s newborn session.

And finally, Nora just sacked out in the floral pink rose nest. So adorable!
