Daniel ~ Second Chance Newborn Photography Session
Meet Daniel. He was one of those babies that just had me sighing “awwwwww” with each new picture that I created. His parents were so happy to do a newborn session with him, their second child. Due to complications with their daughter, they missed out on the chance to have newborn photographs taken with her. So, I set out to make sure this was a very special second chance newborn photography session.
This picture just makes you want to pick him up and rock him all night long. Such a sweet little boy.
His big sister was so excited to take photographs with her new baby brother. He was wide awake for his playtime with her.
Mom told me that Daniel’s room was sage green, so I created a portrait that would perfectly compliment his room.
Dad enjoying a quiet moment with his brand new son.
This pose is one of my favorites. It is called the “bum up” or “tushie up” pose. It focuses on the simple beauty of a baby, created by God, and given to us to love and cherish.
Holding her son in her arms, and both in profile, you can see Daniel looks so much like his mom.
All tucked in and sleeping with a teddy, Daniel would just sigh and fall deeper into dreamland.
And finally, their first family portrait as a family of four. Completely happy and content with their two beautiful children, these parents were a joy to work with. I’m so glad I was able to make this second chance newborn photography session special for them.
If you would like to have your family and newborn photographed together, contact me today. I have a couple of spots available in November and am taking reservations for newborn sessions from January 2018 and beyond.
