I would like you to meet little Valentina (on the left) and Penelope (on the right). They were the sweetest little twins and kept us all very busy when they came to see me a few weeks ago. Mom called me a few weeks after they arrived and the family had a chance to settle in. She was looking for a creative twin newborn photographer and had really loved my work. So I was thrilled that I could fit them in.
Both of the girls gave me some good sleepy time and a good amount of awake time too. During this time with Penelope, Valentina was enjoying a snack with her mom and dad.
Miss Valentina got her moment too while her sister played in daddy’s arms.
The challenge when posing twins is that they react to not only your touch and movements but also to the touch and movement of their sibling. So things can take a bit longer to work out and to perfect. But, luckily these twin girls settled down pretty quickly once they were placed together.
Valentina was having a snooze with a baby unicorn.
And, Penelope got her nap on with a baby pink bunny.
Both parents really enjoy comic book superheroes, and mom told me that Dad’s favorite was Batman. So, here is Valentina the Batbaby.
I had to do a fun photograph for mom as well, and since she wore a Wonder Woman shirt to my studio, this seemed perfect. Meet Penelope, Wonderbaby.
And just because I was having so much fun working on their session, I had a little fun creating a butterfly photograph with Penelope.
This last photograph was mom’s favorite though, as both of her girls are looking straight at you. They were both so awake during this shot that I had to wrap them snuggly. As you can see though, Penelope was on the verge of escaping to have more fun.
I had an absolute ball working with this family, as they are very kind and just enjoyable to spend time with. I hope as these little beauties grow up, I get to see more of them.
If you are having twins or multiples of any number in the near future and would like to get your newborns photographed, contact me as soon as possible. Getting you on the calendar sooner rather than later is always a good idea just in case your little ones decide to arrive ahead of schedule.
